Also, we are being interviewed on BBC Radio Derby
Ian Skye breakfast programme
Thursday 23 November 2017
If you missed it, it is available on the BBC Radio website for the next few weeks. Click here to listen. The Hilltop interview starts 1:25:50 into the programme.
Public Inquiry Documents
During the last weeks a large number of documents relating to the Public Inquiry have been uploaded to the DCC Planning website.
These run to many hundreds of pages of Proof of Evidence, Expert Reports and Rebuttals produced by the two sides – Provectus Remediation Ltd and the Planning Authority (Derbyshire County Council). Evidence has also been submitted by St Modwen (developers of the Bi-water regeneration scheme).
If you have the time and are keen enough, have a look at them – they will give you a good idea of what will be happening during the 10 days of the Public Inquiry.
Public Inquiry Publicity??
On Monday 13 November a number of site notices were put up in strategic locations…
…on the two public footpaths in the middle of the proposed Hilltop Site – how many people are going to see these?
We believe they were put up by Provectus – guess they don’t want too many people to know about the Inquiry!
Time and venue for the Public Inquiry:
10am Tuesday 28 November 2017
Donut Creative Arts Studio
Springbank Road, Chesterfield, S40 1NL
(Estimated number of sitting days: 10)
Lets have a good turn out of local residents to show the level of opposition to the plans.
We understand that the Inspector is prepared to grant time for local residents to address the Inquiry – possibly on the first day.
Have you decided what you want to say?
